I traded in my 1 month old 2012 A7 for a BMW. I did end up buying the red grommet cable though

part number - 4F0 051 510 R

and was wondering if there was any interest in this forum on me putting it up for sale on ebay if any of you wanted to buy it cheaper than a dealer would sell it to you for.

Do all a7's get the album art or only later production cars

In our 2012 a6 only later productions got the new software. I am trying to find a way to get my dealer to upgrade me but they need a problem to get it programmed. They don't just update

You can always tell them that there is intermittent freezing of the MMI. Since they will not really able to replicate the problem (which is usually the case when you take a car in for a specific issue anyway) they may just upload the new software in hopes it will address the issue.

Does anyone know what software version supports the cover flow?

You should see video if you are in Park. when moving, only audio is heard due to safety reasons. If these are iTunes video format, then there should not be any compatibility issues...
