APR STAGE 2 RUNS. 12.40@111 MPH
Took the A7 to the track tonight and I was pleasantly surprised Ran a best time of 12.40@111 mph
I can't wait for the weather to get cooler ...I think 12.0's are possible with the right weather
The only other mod I have is a Injen intake
Here is my time slip

Motortrend clocked 12.3 @112.1
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...s7_first_test/
And the stock APR S7 did 12.216 @ 112.42 (the best of the day)
And you don't have an exhaust that will shave a little more.
So realistically a stock S7 and a stage 2 A7 will go neck and neck all the way to 110mph, and if the S7 doesnt pull away it will be passed at 155mph (speed governor)

Only comparisons I can find on their site are for the B8 S4/S5 and the C6 A6 but if you're getting 12.4 1/4 miles you'd think the gains would have to be at least a little better for the C7 than what they show for those.

Sjerseys4 I will try to compare your APR stage 2 numbers vs my GIAC stage 2
A couple of questions so we compare apples and apples
How much gas did you have in the tank?
Did you shave some weight from the car? Like the spare tire or so?
Did you use brake torquing to launch the car?
Thanks

I haven't tried it myself, but by all accounts the speed governor in the S6/7 is a myth perpetrated by the factory in order to appear socially-responsible. In other words, either it isn't working or it's set for a much higher number.
