Hey, what type of suspension did you drop those H&R's into, sport or non-sport?

Thanks.

Aquarian,

Did you experience a bouncier slightly more unsettled ride at low speeds when you dropped those H&R's in? If so, did it calm down after some miles and settling of the springs?

Thanks.

tridentnyc, since H&R is higher rate than Eibach, it is more bouncier than eibach for sure.
Bouncing is happening since spring rate is harder than the rate of shock absorber.
Get the sport suspension's shock absorbers or go back to normal spring.
Either way will correct the bouncing issue.

What I figured, just trying to avoid. I'm gonna give it a bit more time before I decide what to do.

Thanks for the input.

Here's a picture of mine without any lowering springs. This definitely looks lower than what you have with springs on (or almost the same as yours if i'm not mistaken). Mine is the sport suspension, in this case, If i install springs, do you think the car would be too low?

I have no problems or concerns with being bouncy. I don't think it's an issue at all. I mean, I was one of the first to be lowered on H&R springs and the ride has been fine.

My guess and this is only a guess is that the springs in your sport suspension aren't too far off in terms from height from the Eibach's so the additional drop should be minimal. If you were going from a non sports suspension like me the drop would be more substantial.

I'm starting to feel that the ideal set up in term of ride quality is the Eibach's with the stock sport dampers. If you go Eibach, let us know how you like the ride quality after the install.

After a year of dropping, the car seems to be a tab bit lower.

Still not loving the ride quality with the Eibach's. the car feels so much more unsettled around 70 or 80 mph it's frightening. Small bumps and imperfections "jounce" me around so much now it's all I feel when I drive. I don't get it, I seriously don't know how no one else feels this way. I had the alignment checked but I may bring it back in because this can not be normal. I miss my stock ride!
