Bluetooth Streaming A7

Hey guys...just discovered the bluetooth streaming feature on my A7 and wondered why I really hadn't heard anything about it on the forums. Is it that much a secret or just everyone knows about it? In any event I used it to stream music from my iphone 4G to the A7 for most of a long road trip and it worked great! Will post screen shots later but am interested in others experiences/perspectives.

It also works well for my Samsung Android phone. I use it for Pandora, stored music or online Radio like iHeartradio

It's known just doesn't sound that good vs. all other options available via the A7 nor is album art displayed BUT it is convenient & I used it just today to play some songs I haven't put on my SD card yet.

Rhapsody sounds great

I subscribe to Rhapsody. I was amazed at how great it sounds in my A7 ...as good as my 192kb bit rate CD rips loaded on the jukebox. I think Rhapsody streams at a higher bit rate than Pandora. I can now listen to almost any artist, album, track ever recorded (except the Beatles) while in my ride at any time I choose....with great sound quality.

I have the MLB app on my android phone and found the bluetooth streaming works perfectly to listen to ballgames not on local radio through the A7 audio system.

I have a sub to Spotify and I use the bluetooth connection all the time to stream. Sounds great.

But I had no idea you could get album art displayed. I guess that's only if you x-fer music to the jukebox or use the SD card as the source?

Album Art

Someone I was talking to at the dealership said they saw album art displayed while streaming over Bluetooth! Does anyone know if or how this can be done?

Recalling from memory, go to phone settings & bluetooth audio is an option, check that & it then looks for & finds your bluetooth device (in my case my iPhone), enable it & then it will show up under options in media (SD1, SD2, jukebox, bluetooth audio), select your audio & it will play.
