I am considering purchasing a 2014 Audi A7 TDI with 200K miles. The seller is asking 15k. Do you guys think that its a good idea or should I just go for one with lower miles and spend a little more money? I am also open to buying a A8 as well.

If it was properly maintained, that engine/transmission combo should be good for at least another 100k. If the rest of the vehicle is in good shape, the price is reasonable.

A pre-purchase inspection and the maintenance records will tell you everything needed to make a decision. If the vehicle has been well maintained you should have a great car for the $15,000. Not many $15,000 automobiles can compare to the A7 TDI.

Lion, everyone has their own budget, but for me a 200k mile car is just inviting alot of maintenance costs.
