electronic glitch
Over the last two months I have had HUD warning light (two separate occasions) flash on windshield for my adaptive cruise control when ACC was not in use. It disappears after app 10 seconds and occurred when car was turning at app 40-50 mph . Car is going in to dealer next week. Any other persons experience this?

Not your problem, but I do get an occasionally message saying the ACC is not available. It usually goes away the next time the car is started, but happens enough that I need to bring it in for service.

i also got the acc Unavailable message.

Not that, but had a strange brake issue. I was just leaving an intersection as the traffic light turned green. The car moved forward normally, but the brake got activated in the middle of the intersection, quite hard. After that everything has gone back to normal and had not had this happen again in 8 months. The response from Audi service was "The car must have seen something you did not, like a dog".

My adaptive cruise control and braking assist went out, just a couple days before a long road trip. Now that I'm back, I brought it in to the dealer this morning for repair and got a brand new black A8 as a loaner. It'll be fun cruising around in this boat for a few days
