iPhone 4S and iOS 5.0
In case anyone wondering... No issues with Bluetooth sync'ing, phone book transfer or making calls with the new iPhone and iOS5. Also Siri works well with the Bluetooth, but after responding to your question the hand-off back to music is a bit slow (5-10 seconds).

... and when playing music from the iPhone through the bluetooth audio connection, the track information now shows up on the MMI display (without album art). Apple apparently upgraded the A2DP to AVRCP 1.3.
Unfortunately this doesn't happen with the Pandora app.

Controls work, too!
Actually, I discovered today that there is even more... All of the MMI controls work, too. This means that fwd, rev and pause functions work with a bluetooth connected iPhone running iOS 5. (Maybe this worked on iOS 4, but I never bothered to check).
Also, although the Pandora app doesn't display any metadata in the MMI, the MMI forward button will skip to the next song. Even the * button on the steering wheel worked to move to the next track...

I am a new owner of a 2012 Q5 and an iPhone 4S. However while Siri and calls work fine via Bluetooth. The moment I try and play music, be it through the iPhone's ipod, safari or any app, the audio only plays through my iPhone's speaker and not the car. I am told the bluetooth adapter does not work for 2012 Q5's either, so am curious how you got music to play via Bluetooth? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
