Keeping rear AC off - anyone know how?
Hey folks, I have a '12 A7 Prestige w/ the rear AC controls. As my backseat is unoccupied 99% of the time, I'd like to not run the AC back there. I've tried turning it off, but it restarts on every ignition and is a massive PITA to have to reach back there and hit OFF everytime I get in the car. Anyone know how to turn and keep the rear AC off? Something that I'm missing in the MMI? Thx

I'm not exaclty sure if this is correct but in the MMI there's an area to control it.
Press "Car" ==> "Car systems" ==> Air and ventilation ==> scroll down and it should let you select the backseat control.
I think also if you turn off the "sync" button in the front dash that also will stop it from turning on.
