I am a soon-to-be first time Audi owner. I am in North Jersey and recently ordered an A7, Prestige, Innovation, 20" Sport Package in Daytona Gray Pearl. I won't see delivery until the first week of November. After viewing many pictures of A7s and reading many posts, I have yet to get a definitive answer on the A7's rear license plate lights. Does anyone know if they are LEDs or regular bulbs? Thanks and I think this is a great forum.

I've got a European MY2012, and it's got LED license plate lights. Don't know if this is because I ordered the "Extended Light package". But there is LED.

I have a US Prestige A7. I swapped out the license plates bulbs with these:

(and also replaced the three non-LED interior bulbs -- two in the boot and one in the glovebox).

Not too hard to do and looks great.
