Hi All,

Another possible new 2012 A7 owner here. I've been looking at a beautiful ibis white 2012 A7 with prestige trim.

So I'm not really looking to go back and forth waste anytime and I'm thinking of doing a finance putting like 20-30% down. What is the best price I can go in and offer on this that they'll take and won't waste time trying to grind me.

Any help appreciated, the more information the better

I purchased mine in Monterey, If you like I can give you my salesman info.
He killed every other dealer I went to on price.

 

My advice: shop around. It may be cynical to say it, but dealers in more depressed areas may be more willing to deal -- especially if they've been sitting on the car for a while.

I live in Upstate, NY. The absolute best I could get out of our local dealer was $2000 over invoice, and that was on a version of the car we didn't even want (Premium). I found a Prestige in Ithaca (which is an area of the state that has been hit harder by the bum economy) and they were more than happy to take *invoice* for it. It was a launch car that had been sitting on their lot for months.

In addition, I got another $2000 Audi loyalty discount off the negotiated price since we traded in an '03 A4, so be sure to ask about that if you're trading in an Audi.

One more question, is the "Full LED headlight" option worth getting at all? Most of the pre-config'd cars did not have this option even the fully loaded 79,655 MSRP ones.

 

I have the LED lights, I like them very much.

 

The car you are looking at has the LED lights as part of the Innovation Package. But I would have likely gotten them as an option if I didn't get the Innovation pkg. Good luck!

 

YES don't even second guess it. The LED lights really complete the futuristic look of this car. And at this price, whats another $1400
