new owner.. swap wheels? weigh in please :)
hi all, brand new owner of a phantom black 2012 A7 Prestige. it's got the 20" sport package as you can see. when i first bought the car i planned on swapping the wheels for black Niche Essens (21" pictured below). but the stock wheels are kind of growing on me and now i'm not sure. can i get some opinions? money is not a factor, the Niches are actually very reasonably priced and i imagine i could sell the stock wheels and just about offset the entire cose of the new ones. Let me know what you think!

The stock 20's have grown on me as well. One additional thing that has caused me to stick with them is they're easy to keep looking good. When you don't have time for full wheel cleaning, it's easy to just wipe the brake dust off the flat face of the wheel in a few seconds, and it still looks ok because the inner parts of the wheel are a darker shade anyway.

I love the stock 20" sport wheels, I haven't really seen any aftermarket wheels that have compelled me switch.

If you're not planning on any other exterior mods, I'd stick with the stock 20s. IMO they look perfect on the A7, and as someone else indicated, the ride comfort will be better versus the 21s.

Also I agree that if your leaving the outside stock, stick with the 20's.

The stock 20s are too ornate for the clean lines of the A7 for my taste, much like the stock 19s. I swapped the stock wheels for the peeler style, which was the original style shown when the car was revealed to the media in Sardinia nearly five years ago. Still a winner in my book.
For me, the Niche are much more striking and a great match for the A7. I wouldn't prefer the 21" size, however. Keep in mind this is coming from an A7 owner who special ordered with 19s for a smoother ride experience. No regrets there.
