So I picked up a 2014 A7 with the 3.0 supercharged gas engine, I also picked up an OBD Eleven so I can read any codes I get and of course to unlock some of the features available. One of the features I unlocked was a "Economy, Race". When I select Economy on the display it stays in economy and appears to work as advertised but it will not stay in "Race" mode whatever I do, it always reverts back to whatever the last mode it was in. I suspect "Race" mode needs some option my car is not equipped with but on the off chance that there is some special thing you need to do to get it in to that mode I figured I'd ask on here.

From what I read on Audizine it only works for the R8.

Ah that does make sense, disappointing for sure but the car is still a blast to drive without it.
