I am CONSTANTLY washing this car, absolutely impossible to keep clean...worst car I have ever owned in this regard.
Thanks for the advice. I figured as much seeing how far the rear tires extend beyond the rear molding. The A7 is getting the 3M film done next week and I am having the full bumper, partial hood, front fendors and rear areas in front and behind the rear wheels. I noticed Audi does have film for the front wheels -- have you guys found the coverage there sufficient?

The Panamera has a nice cabin (but hideous exterior). The significant difference in price accounts for the difference in the interior; a $20K price difference in base models accounts for a lot of niceties.

If he already hasn't done so tell your friend to have film installed to protect the entire area in front of the rear wheel wells or that area will get destroyed. After only 18 months mine needed serious paint work in that region (part of the reason I decided to trade).
My fear about the Pan was that the front end would be the most vulnerable to road rash and rock chips---that low sloping hood and broad front bumper seem like natural magnets for that kind of wear/damage. Never thought about the area in front of the rear wheel wells...Go figure. I'll mention this to him, thanks!
