You can't reproduce someone else's trademarks (like the Audi Rings) and sell the results without a licensing agreement. As a result, the parts you can buy do not include the chrome rings themselves, just the mounting points for your stock ones. There is no legal risk to you for making the swap.

Will I have a problem removing stock rings ? Thanks so much for your reply and time you are helping out a great deal

I have no idea how to remove them, though I can't image it's anything more than a few screws or snap clips. I'm sure you can find a guide somewhere here.

There are 8-10 little clips and from what people say, they are brittle so you need to be cautious.

Remove the entire grill first and then you remove the rings from the back. Looks like some people have had luck using a long thin flathead screwdriver to flip the tabs from the front. Google "removing front audi rings". There's a bunch of stuff out there including several threads here in the forums about how to DIY.
