Potentially Complex Audio Question
Hey guys,
New to the forum, recently bought my A7, I'm unbelievably excited over this car
Here's my question, the car came with the bose sound system. I'm thinking about getting a little fancy here although I'm not sure how this will work.
I want to add two 10's to the trunk (will not be re-using factory sub box) powered by 1 amp.
Additionally, I'm looking to keep the stock speakers in place, but adding a set of 6x9s (which I'm going to fabricate into the deck lid) and also add a set of tweeters to the front. These 4 new speakers will be ran by an addition amp.
With those 6 new speakers, I also want my stock speakers to still be used (with the subtraction of the stock sub I will probably just remove all together).
I was thinking of using the audiocontrol LC8i for line output. But I'm curious, is there anything else I would need for this set-up or any problems you would anticipate occurring for me? Basically I want the stock speakers to remain set-up as stock, but adding 2 additional amps, 2 subs, and 4 more speakers. I'm thinking it would sound monstrous. Let me know thoughts and tips?
