Production Number/Tracking
I have two numbers from my confirmed purchase:
1.) Prodtn # J24772
2.)Stock # 423110E1023657
Can anyone advise if you can track this somehow?
Which number is the important one?
Ho often are status updates done from Audi to Dealer?

It moves through a 9 (sorry if I'm slightly out) stage production line. It's updated each day once the car is being manufactured. If you have a production week, they'll usually make the chassis the week before (if it's similar to the A8 production line) and assemble stuff during the given week.

The first number you have there is the "commission number" aka "production number" as some dealers call it.
Your comm# J24772 is what is used to track the status of your order.
Updates arent "sent" to your dealer. The dealer has the ability to check the current status by tracking it on AccessAudi.com
Call or email your salesman and ask for the latest status. Lastly, you can do a search here and find a few people who work at Audi and will check it for you. (hint - search "commission number check")
