Default Programming new key

Dealer ordered me a new emergency key for my '14. This would be the plastic emergency key that is key shaped but is really just a chipped transponder that can open and start the car. I'm headed in to have it programmed.

My question is; do I need to ask and make sure all keys are reprogrammed or is that simply a necessity so I shouldn't worry that only the emergency key would actually get programmed to match the others? I prefer they all be reprogrammed. I'd prefer the lost emergency key no longer function, for obvious reasons.

The two fobs and the plastic key have unique chips that are programmed to the car. The blades are mechanically cut to match your door lock. The old emergency key will no longer start the car but it still could be used to manually unlock the drivers side front door.

Take all keys in case they need them.

Will do. Good point about the old key. Thanks!
