Removed the bose sub, put in a sundown sd-8
Wow, what a difference-- crazy how ineffective the stock bose sub is. To be honest, the rest of the system is pretty decent and does have some good midbass punch to it, but it really tapers off and lacks any sort of low end under 50 hz.
An installer posted photos of an a7 he'd done on diymobile --looked good, and kept my trunk space open so--win win. I tapped the bose sub amp harness (actually, I just clipped it and ran them to an LCO)
Amp wiring is relatively easy, and there's plenty of room for one when you remove the bose sub. fiberglassing is a pain in the ***--and I'm reminded how much I hate it every time I do it (luckily I dont do it too often!)

here's the wiring diagram for the 32pin connector, but the 12v switched isnt there on the a7 -it uses optical switching /sensing for on/off --from what I read
