strange buzzing coming from passenger side

Guys,

My car is giving off a strange buzzing sound before startup coming from the front passenger side....once the car starts the buzzing sound stops..I had never noticed it before two days ago.

Any ideas???

If my memory serves me correctly, it is the fuel system pressurizing. It does this after you open the door, figuring you are likely to start it up shortly. My RS4 did the same sound.

yes, its exactly after I open the door....you are probably right, I just never noticed it before.
