WeatherTech or Audi Mats
Anyone have opinions, but more importantly pictures, of rubber mats from WeatherTech and the Audi ones you can order at audicollectionusa.com?
Just got my 2012 A7 prestige yesterday and living in Western NY this is my first "upgrade"

Aries 3D Floor Liners makes mats for the A7. They are similar to the Weather Tech offerings. Search the forum for threads. They are said to have a softer feel and rise up further on the firewall.
Shop around and they can be found for under $100 shipped.

I also live in western New York and when I purchased my 2014 A7 it came with Audi winter mats, never again. This year I bought the WeatherTech mats and they are much better.
I am still trying to get the salt off the carpet from last year, any suggestions?

I have the all weather Audi mats for my '12 Q5. They're rubber, fit perfect, have the Q5 logo, really non-slip, have worn well... but they just aren't made large enough to cover the sides, foot rest and underneath pedals to protect the carpet against all the winter muck.
I also have the Weathertechs. They're more injection molded plastic, only slightly larger, aren't as non-slip, but custom fit for whatever model. And not cheap at $125. for the fronts (L&R).
I couldn't find the Aries Liners in black.
If Audi would just make theirs a little bigger I'd buy them tomorrow...

Thanks all, I order the weathertech liners last night, a little pricey at $197.90 with shipping but now I can rest easy about the muck. I have two young kids so the liners were the way to go vs the mats for me.
Look forward to posting with you all in the near future, beyond psyched to have an A7!

clarkie6, I'm sure you made the right choice and will be completely satisfied with your WeatherTech liners. We always get only positive feedback on them. However, would be great, if you can share your impression with us!

Love the WeatherTech. We have mag chloride everywhere in Denver. The WT are the only matts to hold in the salt. Had Audi oem rubber matts; do nothing to protect the side of the carpets. Got the WeatherTech for the hatch as well -- best purchase I have made for the A7
