Weather's changing rather quickly up north here - I'm going to be switching over by next week. Will post pictures when done. Good luck.
$300 for bolts and spacers plus the new OEM take-offs still put me $100 less than new Hartmanns without shipping.

That being said I'd just as soon not use spacers, so I may take them back and get a different set.

Unless we're talking about the same wheels, you can clearly see that its embossed with 18x8 ET39. Those tires in the picture are coming out next week - mounting new Pirelli 240 Sotozeros with spacers (12mm & 15mm).
Ok now I'm even more confused. I pulled down my wheels and they didn't have an ET cast into the wheels like your photos, but had "32" stamped in the hub area. This is the same ET the dealer told me when I bought them.

There were other things cast, like 4 rings, Ronal, "made in Czech Republic" (I think), but no ET number.

I guess I'll find out for sure when I have them mounted.

Wow..this is rather puzzling ACHiPo. I went down to my shed this morning to take another look at my ex-Q5 wheels and they all do indeed have that 39ET cast beside the size(8.0x18), 4 Audi Rings, Ronal, "Made in the Czech Republic". But no, it doesn't have the number 32 stamped anywhere. And you're sure yours are the 10-Spoke V design, huh? Well, only way is to get it mounted or post a picture. Let us know how it went.

Finally, got my Pirelli 240 winters and ex-Q5 OEM 18" rims mounted and installed, reluctantly. 255/45xR18 with H&R spacers 12mm front and 15mm rear.
Looks ok, I guess for 5 months or so each year. Comments and questions welcome...
BTW, can anyone please advise what's the ideal tire pressure for winter setups like this one?

Thanks buddy! Its funny when 18" used to be huge on a sedan. After only had the A7 for a month, I'm really missing the look of the stock 20", as these ones look tiny. But this winter setup sure rides a whole lot more luxurious - not quite feeling those dips and bumps in the roads anymore!

Can you or anyone advise as to the tire pressures for winter tires, when the manual specs at 32psi Front and 29psi rears for 18" ALLSEASONS. Kinda low isn't it? I suppose a few psi above those numbers for winters huh?

It does seem a little low. It won't hurt anything to go 10% higher and it would give better MPG's. Snow tires are run on the softer end of the range for traction.

As it gets colder, the pressure decreases so you'll be closer to the published numbers.

Thanks tenspeed. I put it up to 35.5psi front and 33psi rear, took it out on long 200km drive out of town with lots of long sweepers and tight turns. Performs and hugs those bends beyond my expectations. The ride was also much quieter than stock and definitely smoother than those beautiful and aggressive 20" stock wheels w/summer Pirelli PZero rubbers. Absolutely love my A7!
Ooyah.

Heh ACHiPo..so did you sort out your Q5 18" issues?

Looks good. I'm still a couple weeks away from mounting mine, but will post pics when I do (as well as the results to the mysterious offset).

The spacers don't seem to do much to the appearance. Did you use different sizes for looks, or were they needed for clearance?

BOTH ACHiPo.
Most importantly they are for clearance of the brake calipers.
And with offset of 39 on those Q5 rims, without those spacers they will look awkward sucked into the wheel wheel by 12mm and 15mm resp. When spring comes around, the stock 20" will go back in WITH those spacers on, and that'll make the setup look much better.
Hope you get yours mounted ok ACHiPo.
