Default XM - traffic info only

Is it possible to just get traffic info only without the radio for XM?

Yes, I have only radio and no traffic, two different subscriptions

And I have only XM traffic, no radio stations. With SD cards, a 160GB iPod hooked in and options like Pandora I felt the XM radio was redundant.

Yes. Sirius Traffic is $3.99 per month unless you have a Nav+ 2013 model (i.e. A6/A7) and then it's included free for 4 years.

Too bad mine is a 2012. Have had my A7 since last July.

But something weird is I do not have the XM traffic, BUT I get the TMC (traffic medic channel) icon (without the SIM card so it is not connected to Internet either) AND I still get the red/yellow/ lines for traffic at the NAV map from time to time, no idea why?
