VIOFO A129 Duo dashcam/rear cam?
Has anybody installed this front/rear combo in an A7? I've researched without success. Seems like running the cable from rear to front might be a bit difficult (I have a sunroof). Local shop says they can do it, they did an excellent job installing my Valentine 1, but this may be a bit trickier. My other option is to buy 2 independent A119 cameras and use the 12V socket in the cargo area for the rear one, but I like the small form factor of the rear A129. Also, any issues with tint? Rear window is tinted. Any feedback appreciated.
P.S. I agree wholeheartedly with others who have expressed disappointment that Audi cannot give us the option to use the already installed backup cameras for this purpose. How hard can it be to write the software?

Assuming that your signature is correct then you are in the incorrect forum. If, in fact, you have a new A7 then you may find that Audi actually offers this feature but you omitted your location (which you should put under your logon name) so it’s difficult to help answer without the relevant information.
of course, in the US we don’t get this option because Audi prefers to not offer us the high tech equipment.
