Comments/questions
1. Premium Pkg $2400 I guess we still don't get Nav+ until the RS6 and new A8?
2.Why a $200 difference between S8 and A8 Onstar?
3. New S8 will most likely be a 2005 model?
4. Does full leather mean same pkg that was extra this year?

We won't get Nav+. We will get MMI with Nav option on the new A8.
I wonder too. All other Audis are listed at 699. Typo ?
Next S8 most likely late '05 or '06.
Up until this year, if Audi claimed a leather interior, the sides and backs of the seats were real leather as well ( only Mercedes and Audi do this ) as the seating surfaces. This year, in an attempt to keep prices low, they are offering leather seating surfaces ( with leatherette sides and backs ) as the basic leather on some models, with an option to upgrade to full leather.
Next S8 most likely late '05 or '06.

About MMI with navigation system
I was told at the NY Auto show (by AoA representatives) that the navigation system with MMI will be DVD based with coverage for the whole entire lower 48 US on one single map DVD instead of CD based with 10 or 11 map CDs for different areas of the lower 48. I trust them as everyone else is switching from CD to DVD. Audi will have to do this ASAP just to keep up with the competition as far as navigation systems go.
