Default That was the first year....they were offered 01-03

300 cars in 03, and probably about the same or a few more in 01 and 02 for a total of about 1000-1200 units in the U.S.

A good price would be 17K!! I think there's one on ebay right now for that price, buy it now!!! ;-)

They go for as low as 42 (I think) and up to 52.

Default Well, really they can go way north of $52k

Depending on year, mileage, options, and condition.

There's an '03 S8 at our local dealer, and they're asking $64k. It's got the Audi Assured warranty, Cold Weather, XM radio, Nav, Parktronic, OnStar, RS4 wheels, and under 7k miles. IMO, that's a pretty good deal.

sweet car for sale

Default It's listed for $61.9K, if they'll move it for 56.5K run don't walk!

56.5 is a Smokin deal on that car. Recently an 02' sold in Tacoma WA with 20K miles for $62K. An '03 with 9K miles went in Beverly Hills for $61K. The guy in Seattle won't move under $65K for an '03 with 5K miles. If this one is clean and you can get out the door certified for $56.5K I'd do it..just my opinion.

Default Re: '03 sold by private party in Temecula, CA for $51K. Silver/Wine

Any thing over $55k certified is high in my opinion. But if you really want the car!!!!

Default No resale on Silver with that burgundy...

The Silver '03's have typically sold for perhaps $5K less than black/caramel or blue/platinum, the burgundy isn't as sought after.

Default thanks guys for your posts... a recent break up with a long time gf has really got me thinking that

i need to treat myself to something nice... here's a short recap..i joined audiworld 3 months ago after purchasing my 00 2.7T...my gf at the time had been bugging for a long time to replace my honda civic. So I finally caved... also at the same time I was going to purchase a condo (for us...and was going to propose), I went for a used car with AWD to satisfy my skiing needs and didn't want to blow my finances. Audi was the best overall choice...(i used to hate audis)...but i ended up falling in love...and fell in love hard. I was only planning on driving the 2.7T for a year and replacing it with a newer car, but why wait now. Although a 996 Porsche C4S is my dream car and I would love to pick one up, having read about the S8 and looking at all of your cars...not to mention the RS6...my mind is starting to wander. Also with a recent unexpected promotion, I can go for the condo and if need be....upgrade my car. I don't know if this is a smart move, but I've always been a firm believer in following my heart. And my heart says that I want a S8(the price of the RS6 is still killin me)...the porsche will have to wait for later besides I'm starting to like having 4 doors and room to haul passengers. Should I make this jump? Should I wait? I'm torn. Sorry i had to get sappy...ugh..

Default A S8 is pretty much everything a RS6 is.....

....but it's different. I've never driven one...but I think it has a great power to weight ratio....plus it's a little more refined.

If you want to go superfast on a track.....get a RS6....if you want to travel in style, comfort and stealth....in one of the best cars in the world.....get a S8.

They'll love the car!
