Default Will do.....but I won't mount until the spring...

.......paid $1,450 shipped to my door with Nitto 555's.

I went with these tires on a rec. from a friend with an M3. He loves them, ,and they were $65 per tire less than the S-03's, and they have a little better tread life. I may regret not getting the name brand, but I'll get a good chunk of my winter tires paid for with the savings.

http://www.thewheelexchange.com</a

Default On the topic of non-traditional tire brands

I put a set of Kumho's on the Boxster and am very pleased. Lots of guys on the Boxster boards were using them. I later talked to a friend who's a serious Corvette nut (I think he's down to only three), and he says a lot of Corvette performance people are using them.

Default Re: On the topic of non-traditional tire brands

not only did a friend recommend these tires but the sales manager there swears by them. He is on his second set on his M coupe and another sales guy there has them on his 540. So we'll see.

It will be hard to compare though, my Goodyear Eagle LS's are 17"'s and they are not in the same league.
