So I was at Cub Foods tonight, and an A8 (silver/black nav quattro etc.) MY2000 pulls up next to me, "Yeah, I saw an Audi down there and figured I'd park near you."

Anyway, we talked about the car, and he mentioned his Nav CD hadn't show up yet (is this a common problem on A8's?) The car had the new antenna design and the stock polished rims.

"So, it's a 2000?"
"Yeah."
"When'd you get it?"
"Today! First time driving it, etc."

For those of you who aren't in Wisconsin, total blizzard conditions tonight. Here's a guy driving around in his one-day-old A8 in the perfect Audi weather.

My local Nav CD was in the trunk upon delivery.

The CDs are usually shipped a day or two after you take delivery of the vehicle because they come from a central distribution source and not directly from the dealer. I live on the border of two CD zones so I had to order two and they both came a couple of days after I took delivery.
