Default Interior rear dome light

Anyone have any issues with your interior rear dome light? Mine doesn't come on when the doors are open like almost all the time.

Yes pull the assembly and resolder the connection points. Fixed it on my d2

Thanks for the info. Do I have to disassemble the light fixture to get to the connection points?

As I recall I did not, it comes out fairly easy and unplugs.

Sorry I didn't mean taking the light fixture down from the headliner. I know how to do that as I already installed LED bulbs. I'm hoping that I don't have to take apart the whole light assembly to get to the connections that need to be fixed.

Here is a pic of the rear interior light assembly. Where would I resolder the connection points?

I'm having the same problem. Also, when switching to LED interior lights, aren't you supposed to do something different maybe with the battery or computer, in order for the right voltage to power the lights?

No. I didn't do anything and all my interior LED bulbs work fine other then the rear dome light working at times which is few and far in between. But for the exterior lights like turn signal lights and break lights you need to add a resistor to reach bulb that you replaced with LED otherwise you'll get hyper flashing with the turn signal lights or break light out error warning light.
