Default '97 and '98 differences?

Are there any real big differences between the 97 and 98 model A8 (4.2L i mean)? So far i've only really gathered that there isnt a Tiptronic tranny on the '97, and that the 97 model has a weak tranny because of weaker seals? I believe both produce 300hp however. Just wondering if i'm missing anything. I'm deciding if a 97 model is worth the money, rather than gettin the more expensive 98+ models. Ok thanks!
