There's no such thing as "West Germany" since 1989

Well, actually it took a little longer to reunite the two German countries (official reunion Oct. 3rd 1990), but the process started on Nov. 9th 1989 with the downfall of the Berlin Wall.

So much for the daily history lesson :-)
