I have replaced the Valve Body on my DTE with a unit from a later model. I forget the designation. Absolutely no problems with the electrical, electronics etc.

As mentioned. if the wiring diagrams are the same, all the "likes" should interchange without a worry.

2001 Audi A8L FBF trans

Hello I have a 2001 Audi a 8L and I want to find out I'm if you're below quote that you gave is accurate I for my car as well and all the Fbf transmissions I find are very expensive and I wanted to find out if I could put in as a EDG from 2003

On the subject of replacing transmissions

My 200K 2000 A8 is in need of major engine repair and I would like to put my rebuilt transmission with 50K miles on it in a running A8.

this would be the transmission 3rd car.

If you have an A8 with a bad transmission that is otherwise in really good shape - let me know.

Hi Gents
I have 1997 A8 D2 with 3.7 FWD (engine AEW. So by catalog my transmission should be CJZ, however, when I bought the car it was something different in it and it had always a problem. However, recently I found out that for FWD must be 5HP19FL. So, I found here a rebuilt tranny gearbox EFR also 5HP19FL. My question is if it could fit and work with my car? I do not have much of a choices in the country where I am now located. That is why my question is kind of weird but important for me to know.
I would appreciate any ideas.
