The hard part would be installing the sender.
Unfortunately, I don't believe the car's electronics are currently monitoring oil pressure. As you can see, the oil filter-cooler module doesn't easily allow the installation of the oil pressure sender. Perhaps the oil pressure switch could be replaced with a combination switch-sender.

It came from the first of the two pdf's, "The V8-5V Engine, Self Study Program". A while back, the difficulty of adding an oil-air cooler was discussed, and I've had the pic in my pictureposter ever since.

oil pressure sending switch.
I replace this component a few weeks ago. It was very simple. I did remove the air filter box (which was simple) to get a better angle of attach for my box rench. My switch was leaking from the spade electrical connection and the plastic housing.
