Adventures in Vag-Com Hacksville - Part 2
Recoded trans to 00001 from 00011 as suggested by Mr. Beef... Angus Beef. Haven't driven it long enough in this setting, but initial impression is good. Seems smoother, in terms of shift patterns/points/synchronization.
My question is, is DSP activated in 00001?
Also played with VWTool some and am starting to prefer it over the Vag-Com shareware for certain things. It's sad that we poorer people get lots of flak about needing to support Vag-Com by buying the full version. Anyway, I should be changing the title to 'Adventures in VWTool Hacksville' soon. I just have to find hacks and codes and stuff in order to recode various modules. Any thoughts, people?

Did you do the windows with the remote coding? Another one NOT using VAG-com....
doing the fog lights on with the parking lights only. Using a fuse jumper to an open fuse spot. Look up the mod in the A6 section.
A third one is jumping the harness in the rear doors for auto up on the rear windows!!!! I like this one a lot!

If you have kids the rear auto up window is a bad idea.
I was watching this documentary, they had placed an apple on top of the glass window, and they hit the button to close it. Guess what apple was cut in half.
