Alas missed on Bart's Car
It seems I've been outgunned by a stronger foe on Bart's car.Any tips on another 2000 model? My preference would be blue but I can be flexible for a good deal.I am poor!

Re: Alas missed on Bart's Car
You were 'outgunned' by me. I'm not sure if I'm any stronger than you but I did decide I wanted the car and I thought it was worth the $50,000 reserve Bart had posted. I don't really need the car now but I decided to take it after looking around at various new, used and carryover A-8s. There are damn few available that aren't silver, black or gold and I wanted either blue or red. If I were smart, I'd have waited until fall and started looking then but I probably would have ended up paying as much or more and I would not have gotten the upgrades that Bart put in the car.

Best of Luck Jim
You are right about colors available.I will continue the hunt and as always I figure things always turn out the best in the longterm. As for more enhancements,I am researching a very high quality supercharger from a swiss firm z-engineering.com. The UK web page lists an A-8 kit
but not the US.How about 430-440hp?Will surely need those big brakes.

Re: Best of Luck Jim
There was a Ming Blue in Colorado-Denver that a kid won in a raffle and hes folks wanted to sell it. It was on ebay briefly then withdrawn due to a death in the family. They may still have the car. Could dig up the info for you if you are interested and Denver isn't too far away. Although a 2000, it had the old style seats for some reason. That's part of the reason I passed. Also I don't like Blue. Fred
