...and know what the interior color is on that car? I found a pretty good deal (great cond. 46,000 miles audi warranty to 100K) for $25,000. Is that a good deal? Is the '99 identical to 2000? The car is about 500 miles away and I'm trying to see if I can deal with the biege.

My 98 is melange in color which might be the "beige" you are asking about.

The 99 is not like the 00 there was a significant facelift and interior change for 2000. Why don't you search ebay for "Audi A8" and then look at the pictures associated with the listings to see the difference...the engine also received an update...quite a significant difference. CAN Bus started in 2000 as well...

Regarding the price...there have been prices lower but the real issue is getting the good warranty included...what type of warranty are they including...there is a huge difference between Audi Assured Warranty and 3rd Party warranties. Suffice to say if you pay $25 you will be able to sell it 2 minutes later for about $20K...in 6-12 months about $18K....2 years about $12-$13K...IF you keep the mileage low and the vehicle in excellent condition...
