Hi,

I am thinking of replacing my stock stereo headunit with a Pioneer Navigation system.
Would I be able to keep my original speakers?

HAs anyone with experience of replacing the stereo in a 97 A8?

I was told the stereo system in a 97 A8 is different from the 98 and later A8. Is this true?

You won't be able to easily change the head unit due to the Bose system. Too long to go into it.

But if you have problems with yours, usually the dealer has rebuilt units for a fairly reasonable price, my 200q's radio was replaced, it was something like $125 for the rebuild unit with your core.
