Bilstein Shocks???

Re: Bilstein Shocks???
I have shopped around a little bit for them but will not be ready to replace for a few more months. I hope you get some good feedback, I am interested as well. I have also considered the Koni shocks, all seem somewhat expensive.

Re: Bilstein Shocks???
I installed Bilsteins on my 97 A8 @ 51,000 miles and have put 27,000 miles on since. I met the NE Regional Manager at Waterfest and he passed along the part numbers, since they had not yest been published. The ride quality dramatically improved, and the shocks are still outstanding. As a comparison I have a full H&R coilover setup on my VW Corrado VR6... for everyday driving and ocassional track use, the bilsteins on the A8 are much more liveable and forgiving. BTW, the addition of Michelin Pilots A/S tires on the factory 17" alloys really did the trick on this car.
