Default Both of the cigarette lighter sockets have no power?

Hello all,
I tripped the power somehow and now both of the lighter sockets don't work. Yes, all the fuses were replaced and ohm-ed out correctly. What else could be the problems, any inputs would be appreciated.

Thanks,

If not fuse or relay, then get small screwdriver or something with very small tip. Look into the sockets and there are two clip that are supposed to push inwards to put pressure on whatever is plugged into the socket.

Over time they flatten out. Pry each one back inwards a bit, then re-try. Make sure you do the prying when the fuse is removed if you are using something made out of metal to do the prying.

Thanks guys, I'll check the socket. Actually, I don't use the cigarette lighter, just the DC plug for the portable DVD player. I use the Voltmeter to check the 12V and they're not there.
All fuses are good. Darn, this is weird. I may have to take out the fuse box and measure the voltages at these fuses to make sure they're there.

Cheers,

Have you actually found the fuse for the lighter sockets and found it is good? Or just looked over the fuses?

If you have the rear windows switched off, it shuts down the rear lighter. Might check that as well, do the rear windows work from the rear door controls?

Joel,
Thanks, I haven't checked that one. I may accidentally turn them off with the elbow. I'll check it today when I get home.
I actually pulled the fuses out, the front socket was burnt, the back was OK.

Thanks again,

Hello Joel,
Thanks for the tip, the rear window switch was off. Turned it on and both of the lighter sockets have power..... :-)

Unbelievable me,
