Brake Block=Hell of a difference in braking!

Happen to have a good pic of the engine compartment and MC?
And watch the master cylinder while someone pumps hard on the brake pedal. Does it move like in the Honda video?
For the S8, I was originally going to make a bracket connecting one of the strut tower bolts to the bolt under the brake fluid reservoir, anything to help hold the master cylinder in place ... and then I realized I could just insert something solid between the nose of the master cylinder and the strut tower brace. The original Block was just carved from wood and worked fine. The layout of your A6 will determine how creative you need to be.

Thanks!
The brakes have been bled VERY well, and I was considering trying different pads...but the rear rotor suggestion is new to me.
I don't expect "hand of God" brakes like on my 911, but it'd be nice to get a 4000-pound car to stop when you need it to...

You might find this comparison interesting ...
The Maximum Braking G's of about 80 different cars. (I must have had a lot of time to kill that day.)

Are the dimensions available for this piece? I know I'm bringing it back from the past, but my recent purchase of the S8 would greatly benefit from such an easy modification...if there are dimensions I can attempt to make my own unless someone has some made they are selling...thanks in advance!

On both my cars I use a few scraps of wood, held in place with white glue. You can knock a dent into the wood to fit the end of the MC to get a good fit. It's all hidden under the cowl cover when in place. No problems in many years.
