Default CalG - What were the as-found resistance readings of your old TPS?

You mention that it was in spec, I would be interested to know if the new one has higher resistance values.

My old TPS was relaitively low on the range, the new one about 400 ohms higher and your new one had higher readings than mine by another 100 ohms or so.

If your old one had higher readings than my old one, I wonder what would happen if you sent it to another A8 owner with the hunting issue and they installed it.

This is getting interesting, and once again this morning, my car operated flawless at 35-48 MPH. It is so nice.

Default I wonder if it's not the "range" of the bad units but the quality of their output ...

... which has diminished with age.

Nothing's nastier than a gritty, jumpy old pot.

I have the values.

At home.

I'll post here late tonight, or tomorrow.

Select board meeting tonight, it might go late. ;-(

Default Makes sense

With the Tac-O-meter showing barely 2 thousand Rip'ems in fourth gear at a highway safe 60 mph, that 4.10 final ratio makes a lot of sense.

Third gear answers all the requirements of the daily commute.
