Default can this wheel be repaired?

<center><img src="http://33rpm.com/images/AUDI/s8wheelDamageSMALL.jpg"></center><p>I got these S8 wheels on ebay and one got damaged in freight. can this be repaired? or is it a lost cause?

Default Try to do it yourself. Get a BF hammer, tap it up so it's even...

Sand, and repaint. May not be perfect, but it'll look better than that.

Default Yes, retails about $150 to $175 proffessionaly repaired

If you want to do it yourself, instead of hammering at it, use an adjustable wrench and bend the lip back. Then sands and touch up with paint. Silver finger nail paint works great as wheel touch up.

Default I wouldn't use a BF hammer actually. Finesse it with a small ballpien or sheet metal hammer so you

don't break that chunk off. If you do, you can weld new in there, and grind/sand it down smooth. Then prime/paint the area.

Which seller did you get them from and how much if you don't mind me asking, I'm looking for a set.

for about $1150/set. not all that cheap, but hard to find. too bad on the damage. hope that they can fix it....
