Default Car and Driver for Dec. 2003.. Here we go again!

I have doubled my blood pressure meds after reading the comparo among the following: Jag, Benz 430, BMW, Phaeton, A8L and Lexus. BMW gets blasted but finishes ahead of the Audi. I would try to explain why they are wrong including the idiocy of placing the Jag AHEAD of both Audi and BMW but the ambulance is waiting to take me to the local hospitals ER for some intense scrutiny(something C&D failed to do)! If I survive I may post again!!

Default I have not renewed my subscription with them

I have subscriptions to almost all car magazines in the US. "Car and Driver" will not get a renewal for my subscription. And the A8L rewiews are just some of the reasons, their commentaries suck as, as well as a lot of the reviews they write.

They've lost it IMHO.

Instead of the ambulance, I decided to take the "silver fox". On the way, I tangled with a 540 and a Volvo 760 both of their doing! Bedard might want lessons from my back seat `cause he aint learnin any place else. Oh my, did I hear a rattle? Patrick, I apologize. You were correct! Ride quality? Put it back into Auto. for a test and it is superb. No backlash on rough surfaces like C&D claims. Of course, I travel roads as opposed to railroad tracks. Outside door handlea that feel as though one would lose their grip? Get a grip Pat, I didnt miss once(and I tried)! I do not mean to sound defensive because, after all, its just a car. Actually, its a tough decision whether or not to buy a Lexus or Jaguar because C&D says so or drive an A8L that has to be dried off every 5 minutes from all of the drool! Ah, theres the hospital up ahead. No need to go in. I feel fine!!!

I am beginning to think that advertising $$ are responsible here.
