Impressive and inspirational. Almost cant wait for my PND54321
I've dreaded the day I see the PND54321 on my cluster but not so much now. It'll be a good reason to get that scissor lift I've always wanted. I almost can't wait!

That's easy. Put it in reverse and floor it.
When you hit 20mph, slam it in D and floor it again. Make sure you do this on dry pavement.
You're welcome. Now go and order the lift.

good stuff! now you got me thinking about my wife's car. I lost the forward gears at the same....
mileage (and it's the same year).
Hmmm, maybe I should pull the old one apart for curiosity sake?

? No Valve body service at all?
Please refresh my understanding.
Did your trans. "hunt or thump" prior to your rework.
If so,
Please keep us advised regarding these symptoms.
A rebuilt TC from Eriksson as the only related change would be a good thing to know on this subject.
Oh! It's so nice to see that a careful person can rebuild these ZF's. Super human abilities or magic are not a prerec.
Good on ya!

I was informed that there is no service kit per se for the VB. The manual for the VB
is $325 and covers a range of ZF transmissions. This is a facelift car and there was no pronounced hunt/thump. I did notice however that it seemed to drop out of TC lockup on mild up-hill grades at light throttle starting about 40k miles ago - this *seems* to be cured. There were a couple of parts in the OH kit for the VB, but they were nothing to do with the valves. I put them in anyway, but after I saw what they were, I wished I had never cracked open the VB.
