Central Locking Pump
For about a year now, I have been living with no power locks. One day, they just stopped working. Reading about it, I suspected the Central Locking Pump.
Miles are getting up there, 160,000. I just started to figure that this car isn't going to last much longer, but it has. And I really like it.
So I went ahead and bought a used motor on eBay from that guy that charges $60.00. Swapped it out today in like 45 minutes, and presto, the locks work. I had to get batteries for the key, so all in was $68.00. Now I can open the door for my girlfriend proper like, and I don't have to harp on the kids to lock the doors when they get out.
Just one of those things I wish I tried earlier.

Good to hear success stories.
I've saved a fortune buying off eBay (and few other online sources)...used, new and aftermarket.
Anything that others buy from the dealer can be had somewhere else...ANYTHING...NOTHING is truly "dealer-only", even the "bend over and take it" policy, which can easily be found provided by many "Euro specialty garages" and other "professional" mechanics.
