In the realm of Audi problems, this seems trivial, but we're talking about marital bliss so it get elevated in importance. I drive a D3. My wife has a D2.

The charger for my wife's phone will not stay in the cigarette socket. The slightest bump cause it to loose contact. I've tried several types and the socket is apparently too shallow. Can anyone suggest a particular one?

This is what I use and it stays in place. The part that goes into the socket is 2" long.

There is no brand name on the part.

I got one of these, it grabs onto the socket so you can unplug cables from it without desocketing the darn thing.

I use "tough tested" and works great no problems,its 40$ for iphone and 25$ for android.

I like the looks of that charger with the voltage display.

I use the rear lighter socket for my phone cable and have had no problems keeping it plugged in.
