It's the black hose (from EVAP purge valve) next to a little black elbow connecting from an orange plastic vacuum line (from fuel pressure regulator) to the intake manifold (near throttle body). Granted, this photo is from a '98 ABZ engine, but it should be similar. Make sure it's connected to the intake manifold.
This image is the EVAP purge valve (next to air filter box) with the red arrow pointing out the vacuum line connected to it (there is one on the other end of valve going to intake):

And finally, I pointed out some easily accessible vacuum lines on the front of the engine. Probably not the culprits, but doesn't hurt to look (*sigh*, my one lonely change over valve). The EVAP vacuum line (leading to leak detection pump) is pointed out with the blue arrow. Just look at all the rust. We love our salt in the winter!

If all else fails, use some leak detection spray (Audi P/N Engine leak detection spray G 001 800 A1). I hope this solves the problem for you!
