I dropped the extra dough for the Febi/Bilsteins and...one year later the left front lower control arm separated from the ball in the outer spindle while driving locally at low speed on a smooth street coming to a stop sign. I've never heard of a failure like this before. Don't know what to say. They are meant to be the good stuff.

If I understand correctly, unless you get a new phone kit and rewire it, the 2001 A8 kit is useless?
