On my 01 S8 I have been quoted 5 hours labor plus parts to fix a growing coolant leak at the oil cooler. This will be close to $600 when completed.
Is this about right or am I getting the screws put to me here? Thanks for the feed back.

considering the parts are about $100 themselves. labor sounds about right @4-5hrs

do you know the site? I bet a big order could get these well under 10 dollars each. The cuts I made work perfectly with the factory O-rings. You can sell them via Audipages.

I am going to make another with two grooves for Viton O-rings. 4 O-rings per unit! My viton O-rings are ever so slightly smaller thickness than the factory O-rings. But as cut the grooves are perfect for the factory O rings.

a very good mechanic can maybe do it in 5.
I don't see 4 being possible.

I can send you a DXF of same, which can EASILY be imported into the Emachineshop program to make these.
