Coolant leak
I have a 2001 A8L 4.2 and started have a coolants leak that I a see small puddle from the front passenger side after the car has been sitting for a day or 2. I have used a pressure tester that attaches to the coolant reservoir and had the pressure hold steady @ 16psi without dropping. Can someone help with a possible area that I can narrow down for repairs? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

A common coolant leak on the passenger side is the coolant tube that connects the engine to the oil cooler. The OEM part is plastic and is known to fail.

That said, if you're going to spend the time to change it don't replace it with another plastic piece which will also eventually fail. Fix it right with an aluminum piece which will likely never fail again. There's no sense in doing all of that work twice. 4.2L Audi/VW Billet Oil Cooler Tube - Gruven Parts
