Dashboard display has disappeared

No longer displaying mile to empty, temp and so on; any ideas on what the fix might be?

owners manual describes how to toggle it off and on. reset button, I believe.

Yep, there's a little black button on the bottom of the wiper stalk.

Press it and the display will be restored.

And if you bump it, the display will disappear again.
